AS air force is the strength of any country’s defence system. and it plays vital role in war time while it is very necessary that air-force must be capable to tackle the challenge when we havAS air force is the strength of any country’s defence system. and it plays vital role in war time while it is very necessary that air-force must be capable to tackle the challenge when we have enemies like pakistan, who has nothing to do except doing bad for india only one goal they have to demolish indian territory.in fact pakistan is not only but china, one of the fastest growing economy of the world becoming too dangerous for india as china is becoming too aggressive at indo-china border specially arunanchal pradesh, tawang (sikkim), and very new disturbance at laddakh that all are the warning alarm for india as we are alone in term of defence collaboration and as we have lots of enemies like pakistan,china and hidden enemies like banladesh as they have ISLAMIC extremist working many affairs against india promoting Islamic terrorism UNDER (ISI) guidance.Nepal who was our friend since ancient age but now as moist came in power they are also becoming main land for illegal activities against india as fake currency and ISI militant coming from there, next country is shri-lanka as we know because of tamil-dispute india become isolate for this issue and LTTE organisation is now vanished by lankan army which was supported by china. so china is making a round circle around india,as by making every country in favour of itself as by investing and giving support of weapons and money.as we have example of myammar which is really too close with china as china is supporting its military government against all world. A very sad news today a more indian fighter aircraft MIG-21crash down somewhere in panjab what the hell going on in our airforce this MIG-21 is well known as “udata-taboot”.this aircraft is retired and useless but who is hell is responsible as we have lost too many our dedicated pilots.but who cares ?? airforce is seriously doing nothing to overcome this problem.what a joke ?? we are becoming super-power as our politician says. but how this way. IT’s very pain full really to know every time an aircraft fell-down and pilot died.you know one thing government spends too much to train these pilots. they are valuable for our country but we are loosing them carelessly. we even not able to remember how many aircraft accident happens in every year ??do you people.this is really very sad news.. i used to become helpless when these news flash in front of me.

one thing very serious which i want to say here our air-force is too weaker now it is very well known fact.

every fighter air-craft which we have, crashed-down and the well known aircraft is MIG-21.few days before indian army’s very important air-craft AN-32 fell-down somewhere in arunanchal-pradesh .

and very big question ???

a new report on china vs india defence expenditure just take a look we all enough educated to understand this report.

While India’s defence budget for fiscal 2008-09 has been hiked by only five per cent in real terms to Rs 105,000 crore ($26.4 billion), China’s People’s Liberation Army has been given a 17.6 per cent increase in planned defence expenditure to Yuan 417.77 billion (58.79 billion). China’s defence expenditure has grown at between 12 and 15 per cent annually in real terms over the last decade.

Chinese analysts have sought to pass off the rather steep hike in the defence outlay as having been “caused by the sharp increase in the wages, living expenses and pensions of 2.3 million-strong PLA officers, civilian personnel, soldiers and army retirees”. However, the world is sceptical. Defence analysts look at the spectacular anti-satellite test successfully conducted by China in January 2007, recent pictures of an aircraft carrier under construction, the acquisition of SU-30 fighter-bombers and air-to-air refuelling capability, the drive towards acquiring re-entry vehicle technology to equip China’s ICBMs with MIRVs (Multiple Independently-targeted Re-entry Vehicle), and a growing footprint in the South China Sea. They cannot help wonder whether a 21st century arms race has well and truly begun.

In the 2004 White Paper on National Defence, the Chinese government admitted that additional funds were needed for modernisation of the PLA, even though these were classified as ‘moderate’. In the 2006 paper this reason has been mentioned only in passing. The allocation of additional funds for force re-structuring and a qualitative increase in the levels of training is emphasised in both White Papers, as also rising inflation as a cause of increased defence expenditure. However, nothing in the White Papers of 2004 and 2006 fully explains the double-digit inflation-adjusted growth in the annual defence expenditure. It is this lack of transparency that has fuelled speculation about an arms race.

On certain parameters, China’s defence expenditure compares favourably with the other major powers. China’s defence expenditure overtook that of Japan ($42 billion) and Germany ($37.5 billion) in 2007, but still lagged behind the United Kingdom ($62.38 billion) and France ($50.78 billion) whose economies are now much smaller than that of China. It is, of course a small fraction — less than one-tenth — of the United States’ defence budget of $532.8 billion, not counting the supplementary grants sought by the Pentagon later in the year.

The United States spends almost half (48 per cent) of the total defence budget of the world. China, France, Japan and the United Kingdom each spend four to five per cent.

Complete transparency in defence spending has seldom been a strong point even among countries that take pride in being liberal democracies. Air Commodore Jasjit Singh has written, ‘All countries try and protect what they consider to be crucial information about their defence capability for understandable reasons; and defence expenditures are obviously part of that information except where democratic states practice greater transparency as part of their liberal ethos, domestic obligations and public oversight, and well established procedures of accountability…”

Totalitarian regimes like the one in China also lack egalitarian accounting practices and do not have a real grip on all the details of what they actually spend.

David Shambaugh, a well known China analyst, finds China’s defence budget the most difficult aspect of the country’s armed forces to research. In his view, “Few areas of China’s military affairs are more opaque and difficult to research than the revenue/expenditure and budget/finance domains — but perhaps none is more important to understand.” Clearly, China’s estimated military expenditure is far higher than the officially published figure. In response to international calls for greater openness, one Chinese military official countered that ‘transparency is a tool of the strong to be used against the weak’.

Shambaugh lists several items of expenditure that do not figure in China’s list: “China’s official defence budget does not appear to include all funds for (1) Chinese-made weapons and equipment production (as distinct from procurement); (2) some RDT&E (Research, Development, Test & Engineering) costs; (3) the paramilitary People’s Armed Police; (4) funds for special large weapons purchases from abroad; (5) funds directly allocated to military factories under the control of the GAD and funds for defence industry conversion; and (6) military aid.”

Defence analysts Ted Galen Carpenter and Justin Logan point out that greater transparency would be in China’s interest: “China needs to recognise that it gains little from opacity in comparison to what it loses Any respectable observer of the PLA knows about China’s growing capabilities. We know about the Sovremenny destroyers, the Sunburn missiles and the Kilo submarines. We know about the Sukhoi 30s and the new F-10 fighter. Large-scale hardware acquisition and development is hard to hide.”

China’s military aims and modernisation strategy have been enunciated in the Defence White Paper of December 2006. The strategy is “a three-step development strategy in modernising China’s national defence and armed forces, in accordance with the state’s overall plan to realise modernisation. The first step is to lay a solid foundation by 2010, the second is to make major progress around 2020, and the third is to basically reach the strategic goal of building informationised armed forces and being capable of winning informationised wars by the mid-21st century.”

Compared with China, India’s budgetary transparency is indeed noteworthy — even though many Indian analysts are of the view that the government does not disclose sufficient details in the annually published Defence Services Estimates. Except in the last two years, the annual increase in India’s defence budget has barely kept pace with inflation. India’s defence budget is less than half of China’s officially claimed figure and is between one-fourth and one-third of China’s actual defence expenditure.

Due to China’s vigorous military modernisation drive, the military gap between India and China is growing every year. With the improved logistics infrastructure in Tibet , including the Gormo-Lhasa all-weather railway line, improved road axes with good laterals linking them and many new air strips, the Chinese are now capable of inducting large numbers of troops into Tibet in a time frame that is likely to unhinge Indian war plans.

India needs to invest more in improving the logistics infrastructure along the border with Tibet, in hi-tech intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems for early warning and in generating land- and air-based firepower asymmetries to counter China’s numerical superiority. India also needs to raise and suitably equip four to six mountain strike divisions to carry the fight into Chinese territory if it ever becomes necessary. All of these capabilities will require a large infusion of fresh capital. India’s growing economy can easily sustain a 0.5 to 1 per cent hike in the defence budget over a period of three to five years, especially if the government simultaneously shows the coura ge to reduce wasteful subsidies.

‘Nervous’ China may attack India by 2012: Defence expert

A leading defence expert has projected that China will attack India by 2012 to divert the attention of its own people from “unprecedented” internal dissent, growing unemployment and financial problems that are threatening the hold of Communists in that country. “China will launch an attack on India before 2012. There are multiple reasons for a desperate Beijing to teach India the final lesson, thereby ensuring Chinese supremacy in Asia in this century,” Bharat Verma, Editor of the Indian Defence Review, has said.

He said the recession has “shut the Chinese exports shop”, creating an “unprecedented internal social unrest” which in turn, was severely threatening the grip of the Communists over the society. Among other reasons for this assessment were rising unemployment, flight of capital worth billions of dollars, depletion of its foreign exchange reserves and growing internal dissent, Verma said in an editorial in the forthcoming issue of the premier defence journal.

Nepal on Monday dismissed suggestions of any ‘Chinese connection’ behind the recent Maoist attack on two Indian priests of the Pashupatinath temple. Deploring the incident that took place at the temple premises on Friday, Nepal Culture Minister Minindra Rijal told an Indian private news channel, “It’s very clear that they (Maoists) are involved.” However, when asked about the suggestions of a ‘Chinese angle’ and reports that pro-China Maoists were behind the attack, he said that inventing a ‘conspiracy theory’ is not going to help the government. “As an independent Nepali citizen, some might be a little more sympathetic to China, some might be little more sympathetic to India…being sympathetic does not mean you are part of a Chinese conspiracy,” he said. Bhuvan, meaning Earth in Sanskrit is the addition to the numerous scientific innovations by SAC and is a satellite mapping tool, just like Google Earth or Wikimapia, but allows you to zoom far closer than the aerial view from a chopper. If Google Earth shows details upto 200 metres distance and Wikimapia upto 50 metres, Bhuvan will show images upto 10 metres, which means you can easily see details upto a three floor high building and also add information.
Bhuvan, (Sanskrit: भुवन Hindi: भुवन, lit: Earth), is a satellite mapping tool similar to Google Earth and Wikimapia. It was developed by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It offers resolution up to 10 metres and is considered as a rival to Google Earth and Wikimapia.[1]
A prototype (beta)[2] of this application was launched on 12th August 2009.

Basic features of Bhuvan:

India’s first moon craft stops talking signal from earth

“The mission is definitely over. We have lost contact with the spacecraft,” Mylswamy Annadurai, project director of Chandrayaan I.

Chandrayaan, which was launched on October 22 last year amid much fanfare, was designed for a two-year mission in space.However, S Satish, the deputy director at the Directorate of Quality and Reliability in ISRO, it was too early to say the mission had ended. “We will not be able to say that until we have analysed all the data we received from the spacecraft”, he said.

The reason for Chandrayaan’s sudden silence was not clear. “Till the analysis is complete we cannot say what is the reason for the loss of communication,” Satish said.

The craft suffered a setback earlier this year when one of its sensors was burnt due to solar radiation. after this incident chadrayan-2 plan will affected as in chandrayan-2 scientist were planning to send satelite at moon surface but after this incident it will be very difficult to be accomplished.

IN our country people are taking swine flue as sake of grant as report says that indians are careless about this dangerous decease. heath ministry report says that we,indians are careless about this decease as it can been seen in all around country very few people are using mask and following important instruction given by doctor to prevent this.as report says that we should not much worry about this but we must follow instructions as given by health ministry or WHO.

the very important thing to prevent our self, our society and our country by precautions. so please people do’nt take this very lightly.

as we can see report this time more than 500 people are affected by this and more than 100 people died and this number can increase rapidly.so we all have to be aware about this. VERY Important thing is about this is that,most of swine flu patients are upper class of country and they are capable to afford all expenditure of treatment and they are too closed to latest medicine for this but if this decease will spread in our poor indian brothers.then situation will become more critical as we know our country is still a developing country and we are not enough prepared for this future problem that may create in front of us.

a very good news is that”second day consecutively” no swine flu death was reported in our country, but bad news is 99 fresh influenza A(H1N1)VIRUS cases was detected taking number to over 2,000. it means about 10,578people have been tested and 2,026 are possitive for H1N1.and very important 708 have been dishcharged as per report of union health ministry. as 99 fresh H1N1 patient found on thuesday most were from maharatra while mumbai itself had 20 fresh cases, pune reported 18, nasik two,dule and aurangabad three each and kohlapur and satra one each. The other cities where new patients found affected by swine flu are as follows. Bangalore (20), Delhi (10), Panchkula (2), Hyderabad (2), Kochi (2), Kozhikode (2), Ghaziabad (1), Jaipur (2), Goa (1), Udupi (1), Manipal (1), Ahmedabad (3), Surat (1), Silchar (1) and Dibrugarh (2). While most of the cases reported Tuesday were indigenous, two people reported from Kochi had travelled abroad. In Delhi, three people and one in Hyderabad detected with the flu had travel history. The health ministry said that there is no report of death of swine flu patient on tuesday Maximum deaths have been repoerted from Pune (13), Bangalore (5), Mumbai (2), Ahmedabad (1), Chennai (1), Vadodara (1), Nasik (1) and Thiruvananthapuram (1). Health officials said a central team is stationed in Maharashtra to assist the state government in instituting appropriate public health measures.
